Not 'Til Hell Freezes Over?

According to a report in Sci Fi Wire, there will be no sequel to Constantine. The outlet quotes the actor who starred in the film as saying that, while he liked the part, the film didn’t do well enough at the box office to warrant a sequel, bringing in $75 million domestically, and over $150 million overseas (as well as a healthy DVD business).

“We didn’t quite make it,” Reeves said, referring to the film presumably meeting some benchmark. The actor had also said specifically, when asked about a sequel to the film, “Not with me.”
