Along with a large coalition of groups representing the interests of artists, writers, publishers, and booksellers, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund scored a legal victory that will see South Carolina's Harmful to Minors Internet law struck down as unconstitutional. The ruling came last Monday, when Judge Patrick Michael Duffy of the U.S. District Court in Charleston, South Carolina, issued a permanent injunction barring enforcement of the law, which would have restricted the rights of adults and older minors to access constitutionally-protected materials on the internet, according to the CBLDF.
