We're the normal people who just like stuff. We're not the nutty fans you see out there in line for Star Wars for months on end, in the wrong line. Well, some of us may be. We're the people who just want good discussion, and want to distance ourselves from the crazier side of fandoms.
Yeah, I got tired of everyone going, "Wow, those fans are nuts!" when I know there's a buncha folks who aren't crazy, can reasonably look at something and discuss it without using OMG frequently, and are just generally put off by the nuts, like the ones bitching over Superman's costume. Thus I create Fansanity. The latest comm I've created that will likely go nowhere. =)
