ARGH

We have 4x6 paper to print photos on, and it says not to use in laser printers, or photocopiers.

My mother, "Why does it say not to use in a photocopier?"

I posit that the paper may get stuck, and jam the machine. I'm sure there are other reasons, but I could see this going downhill fast. And boy, did it.

"But that's not how the copiers works. You put this on the machine, close the lid, and make copies. If it gets jammed, you just take the paper out and try again."

"Nono, you're missing the point. You put the photograph paper in the machine, to make your copies on to..."

"But if you put these in the machine to make copies of..."

"That's not what it says. It's warning you against putting them in the machine..."

"You're not hearing my point."

"No, I hear your point, but your point is stupid. And irrelevant."

Oh, the look I was given.

Repeat this for five more minutes. Seriously.

"They're not warning you against making copies of photographs. They're warning you of using this paper to print photos onto."

"But if you're making copies..."

"You're not! This is not about making copies FROM this paper!"

"Well, that's not what I'm talking about."

And you shouldn't be! What you're talking about has nothing to do with it!!

Shut up. Just shut up.
