Just thought I'd pass this along.

" Due to the limited availability of servers, DALnet has enacted a
temporary| expiration moratorium. Registered nicks and channels will not
expire for non-usage in the immediate future. When DALnet returns to a
more stable state, the expiration process will be put back into effect.
Please do not abuse this extra time by registering nicks or channels you
will not use on a regular basis."
