This time out, Gamera has returned to Earth, but he needs a break, and sits out most of the movie while he recharges from his trip to Mars. While he's doing that, some guys go in search of a gigantic opal, that's actually a creature egg, that gives birth to Barugon, our monster of the movie. He trashes Tokyo like all kaiju do, until Gamera decides he's had enough of this shit, and puts him down.
"He died as he lived: Goofy!"
I love Crow's constant jokes that Barugon looks like a dog. I don't quite see it myself, but it's still funny.
Boy, did things get awkward when the girl went to suck out the lead's blood from a wound, and it ended up looking very suspiciously like a blowjob. They kinda didn't know quite what to joke about, did they?
"It's turning into a Skittles commercial!" It's magically delicious! Oh yeah, Barugon farts rainbows. Go figure.
Another good example of 'man in suit' movies being just the right kind of goofy for MST3K. Even without much Gamera 'til the end, they had plenty to mock about. Classic stuff.
