Whenever stuff like this happens, I love breaking out Weatherbug, which always sits in the system tray anyways, but it has some handy maps and warnings to keep me up to date, and I also hit the local channel's maps from the NWS that are updated pretty live.
I gotta say...I kinda love tracking storms, knowing where they are, when they'll hit me, or if they'll just barely miss me.
In another life, I may well have become a storm chaser. Or a meteorologist. But the former is more fun.
