Clowning Around

It takes a lot for a movie to be so bad that I wish I had never watched it.  Even "Things" gave me some sense of enjoyment.  Or at least entertainment.  I have no major regret in watching that piece of garbage, as terrible as it was.

But oh.

Then there's movie's like the newest What I'm Watching review at Trisk's journal; Clown Hunt.

Sure, you don't expect much from a movie with that title.  Sure, you don't expect much from a movie about hunting clowns.  But you expect more than what this movie does.  It does NOTHING with the idea.  It is an hour of rednecks hunting clowns.  NOTHING MORE.  Sure, it does what the box says, but an idea like this NEEDS more meat on the bones, so to speak.  It needed some sort of social or political commentary.  Or a coherently built universe at the least.  There is nothing fun about this movie after about ten minutes.  By that point, you get the joke.  People are hunting clowns.  Repeat that for the next hour.  And nothing more.

Ugh.  Just ugh.
