From the Ashes

Woo.  Finished a new review over at Triskaidekafiles!

Took a look at an old 80s silly horror movie, Waxwork, starring Zach Galligan from the Gremlins movies, and David Warner from ffffft, Everything.

Wow.  Just...wow.

Sony has decided to toss Sam Raimi off Spider-Man 4, and the cast, and everything, and they're going to reboot the franchise for Spidey '4'.

I've got a lot of thoughts on this, but I'm in too much of a hurry to get into the details, but let me just say that this is one reason I'd rather have a decent comicbook tv series over the movies.  I said when Spidey 1 hit that it was pretty awesome, but I'd rather have weekly hourlong adventures for a few years, than a few two hour adventures every few years, and then it inevitably gets rebooted after three movies.

I didn't mean it this literally!
