Rated H for Heroes

NBC's "Heroes" delivered series-best ratings Monday night, dominating its broadcast competition in the night's middle hour and helping the Peacock finish neck and neck with CBS among adults 18-49. ESPN, however, was expected to win Monday in most key measures with its New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys contest on "Monday Night Football."

According to preliminary nationals from Nielsen, "Heroes" (6.2 rating/15 share in adults 18-49, 14.3 million viewers overall) was up nearly 10% week to week to log the highest regular-slot 18-49 score for a first-year drama in the past two seasons. It was up a big 55% over NBC's non-sports average in the timeslot last season.

Woohoo! Ratings going up, that's rare for a non special episode/not during sweeps.

And up against football too!
