Got a new answering machine, and I'm always drafted to eventually make the message, since I have a sense of humour.
I finally went with an idea I've been toying with for a few months now, and which is sure to add a few red flags to my permanent file.
"You have reached the National Agency of Security call routing center for (My Phone Number). As you may be aware, we have begun monitoring all numbers, and all calls. If we deem your message to not be a matter of national security, we will forward it on to the number you dialed. If they do not receive your message...we're watching you."
