Musical Rings

*drool* I've been waiting for this for a few years. Well, the DVD in particular. I've listened to DVD Audio discs here and there, and the quality is just...wow. I can't wait to hear this.

Reprise Records is going to be releasing all 180 minutes worth of music recorded by composer Howard Shore for The Fellowship of the Ring. The 4-disc The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - The Complete Recordings will arrive in stores on 11/22 (SRP TBA). The first three discs of the set will contain the score in CD stereo format, while the fourth disc will be a DVD containing the complete score in 5.1 surround sound. Other extras will include artwork and a booklet of liner notes entitled The Music of The Lord of the Rings Films - Part I: The Fellowship of the Ring, written by Doug Adams.

Write Way, or Wrong

Since there's a bunch of writers on my friends list, I thought they'd like a look at this. Online 'writeboards' where you can write solo, or collaboratively, for various purposes, and go back to any previous version with ease. Shame these weren't more prevalent in the heyday of the Round Robins.
