Be Warned

And you thought Google having your phone number was bad?

Howabout ZabaSearch, where you can get birthday info, address, phone numbers... Ain't information grand? For the record, I don't have giant problems with these services. The information is already available out there, this just males it a smidge easier to track. As long as there are ways for people who don't want their info out there to remove it, I can more or less abide. And I'll make sure people are aware of these services, because I *do* understand the concerns people have.

There's a removal procedure, but...

"If an individual emails ZABASEARCH and provides adequate information, which is their full name, date of birth, address, and telephone number, their information will be removed or blocked from source databases. Although most information is usually removed or blocked permanently, ZABASEARCH does not guarantee that the information will not be available again in the future from other sources or ZABASEARCH itself."

No, I'm sorry... If I request to not be on your database? That damned well better be guaranteed. What's the point of requesting it?
