Ten Shows Meme

I doubt this will take long.

a. Post a list of 10 TV shows you watch (current or cancelled!)
b. Have your friends list guess your favourite CHARACTER from each show
c. When guessed, tell us why you like that character

1. Babylon 5 - Lyta Alexander There's really multiple answers to this one, but she tops it. Redhead, telepath, a victim of circumstance, looks good in leather, and always fun on screen. But most JMS characters have witty writing behind them.
2. Jeremiah
3. Farscape
4. Angel - Fred Another tough one, but Fred wins out because smart is sexy. I'm a sucker for the cute, smart girls. See also: Shadowcat.
5. Buffy - Willow Redhead, fun, shy, smart, and the Dork Phoenix. ;)
6. 24
7. Dead Like Me
8. Alias
9. House - Dr. Gregory House As if there was any question. I do so enjoy me some killer snark. And House has snark in spades, and I do so love him for it. Ahhh, sarcasm and cynicism. My hero.
10. Odyssey 5

Probably took me longer to make the list. ;)

The Doctor is Out

Frank Langella has stepped into the role of Perry White in Bryan Singer's "Superman Returns" for Warner Bros. Pictures. Hugh Laurie originally was cast in the role but bowed out because of a scheduling conflict with his TV series, "House." The series, on which Singer is executive producer, has proved a surprise hit and was just picked up for a second season. Laurie had not yet shot any scenes on the movie, which began production March 21 in Australia.

And on the Fifth Day...

AICN mentions writer David Fury leaving Lost to work on a new show with other former Buffy associates, and also lets it slip that he'll be a new executive producer on 24...for the fifth season.

Edit: And Lost and Alias have both been picked up as well.
