Badgers!

A Rare Share

A brief snippet from my book. Yes, it's pointless. Yes, it has nothing to do with anything. Yes, it's just there to break some tension, and will likely be edited, if I ever edit this.

Brigid burst into the break room, the door slamming against the wall. "Guys! Guys! Come quick, you've got to see this!"
The two of them leapt to their feet, hoping this was the break they had been waiting for. "What is it? The other person isn't dead already, are they," Darwin implored.
She shook her head quickly, and motioned for the two of them to follow her out into the main office, and they eagerly followed as she led them back to her desk.
She pointed excitedly at the computer screen. "Look! Badgers!"

Sleep With One Eye Open

Parents are pushing their older years, and they've made various arrangements, and they were discussing this morning about body disposal, and my dad says they won't end up going together unless someone kills them in an accident.

Me: Or if I finally snap one night and shoot you both.
Mother: Heeey, just a minute, I'm not sure I like the sound of that, what with you staying up all night!
Me: Oh please, you know I can't shoot for shit with my vision.

Me: ...It's the swords you have to worry about.

I so want to kick Ashton's ass.

And with the wealth of useless knowledge in my head, I *would* host that show.

Die Already!

John left his computer on, and thus his AIM name is still online, over a month after his passing.

He goes away, he comes back...

It's kinda creepy, actually.

As long as it doesn't talk to me.
