To anyone who reads and finds my ramblings interesting (All what? Two of you?) sorry for being quiet the last few days. Been doing a LOT of downloads, so I've been reserving bandwidth.
I'm sure my odd thoughts will resume soon =)
And finish the Phoenix skin.
I need a costume for Halloween.
Oh, and the one for Winamp too.
Beth, I hope you take the time to read my journal today.
DAILY VARIETY reports Stephen King has written a four-hour
sequel to FIRESTARTER for The SCI FI Channel. The miniseries
event picks up 20 years after the events in King's 1984 film.
ELLIS TO WRITE 'HOSTILE WATERS' STORYLINE
INTERPLAY has announced Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan,
Planetary) will write the storyline of their upcoming sci-fi
action-strategy game HOSTILE WATERS: ANTAEUS RISING
Serra Angel back for Magic's 7th Edition! Yay! Serra good.
Just looked at my calendar page.
I've posted more to my journal today than I did since St. Patrick's Day combined =)
More or less.
My day has been made.
To wake up and find so many responses to my posts this morning.
I have more than two readers!
MOEBIUS MEETS SPIDER
Guest covers by the industrys top artists have become a staple of Warren Ellis and Darick Robertsons Vertigo series Transmetropolitan, and coming up later this year is a three-issue stint by an illustrator with a pretty solid rep...
Robertson informs Newsarama that artist Jean Giraud, otherwise and better known as Moebius, has signed on to provide three covers for the series, for issues #49-51.
Yes, that damned show. Why am I mentioning it? Because I finally found someone's comments on it that perfectly sum up my feelings on why I don't like it.
"I watched two minutes of one episode and asked "on what basis are people
kicked out"? The answer sounded like fifth-grade in-group clique-ishness so
I never tuned back in."
Another comment mentioned how it rewards trickery and backstabbing (MAJOR paraphrasing, but I think I get the gist across), which is another thing that bugs me about the show...
