I had totally forgotten what this was about, or even having seen it, until I heard the "TORTURE!" running gag. That brought back all my memories. That, and pull my finger.
"For all it's pitfalls, this movie educates AND entertains!"
Some aliens land on Earth looking for a place to raise their foodstuff, the Gargan, which are just lobsters. And I wonder if somehow Stan Lee didn't see this movie at some point, and that name stuck with him and came out as Mac Gargan, the Scorpion.
Anyways, they decide to say screw the indigenous lifeforms, (What prime directive?!) and one of their number dissents and runs, leading a merry chase. And there's lots of skeletons. Awesome skeletons. As one of the other aliens tries to hunt down the *snicker* teenager.
The lobsters scream, as well. Scream like I always imagine lobsters should scream when thrown in a pot. It's kinda hilarious.
Overall a mixed bag, but a goofy movie with some great jokes, so a hair above average.
