I hate to be that person who won't try something new on his plate because it 'looks icky'.  I'm not 12.

Well, ok, sometimes I am.  But I digress.

However, when there's something that looks like glue on my carrots, smells...strange, and has the uncanny look of a thick gravy, I'm not exactly looking forward to trying it.

And it pretty much lived up to expectations.  I don't know what was done to those poor carrots, but they were pretty much unappealing in every way possible.

On the upside, I *did* try them.
