Happy 13th!

Triskaidekafiles has naturally been updated with a new review, Sledgehammer, what may well be the first movie shot on video for a direct to VHS release.  (It gets a bit dodgy just who was first, but generally, these guys get the title.)

Cheap made, bloody horror by people who don't quite know what they're doing?  Oh, this movie has Trisk written all over it.  In big red letters.

The movie is weird, it drops into random slo-mo, it's bloody, it's incoherent, and it is a thing of beauty.  This is what happens when a group of friends get their hands on a video camera with some cheap editing techniques built into the controls and want to make a movie.
