Well, here's something interesting.  Way of the Rat news.

"China's Global Times (via MTV News) reports the Crossgen series is headed to the big screen as part of a China/US/Canada production partnership. "With a budget of $94 million, it is set to begin shooting later this year for a Christmas release," they write. Here's how MTV describes the comic book: "[It] followed a thief named Boon Sai Hong who runs across more than he bargained for by stealing two objects with magical properties. Along the way he gains a talking monkey named Pop Po as an advisor and the criminal element of the Asian-based world out to get him." Yeah, I can see why someone would want to make a movie out of that."
