Ok, the aliens...
Why do they all have very regular names, perfect for the US? They've been here for 60 years, but we saw them mere seconds after their crash into Alaska comfortably using names like Sophia, Tom, and Lee.
Now, this COULD be handwaved by saying they were always planning to come here, so prepared familiar names we would be able to relate to, but somehow it just rings false to me. It feels like the writers are just making a concession because it's easier for them, and easier on the typically lazy viewer, to give them Terran names rather than something genuinely alien.
I'd like to think this will come up in a later episode, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's never mentioned.
