Some of y'all have heard about this in various stages, since I can't keep a secret, and need some feedback as I'm fiddling around with minutiae.
But most everyone has at least known I've wanted to do this for ages, since I've posted about it frequently.
I love bad horror movies. I'd say the badder the better, but that's just not true. If they're really bad, they're just...bad! But there's a certain charm and enterainment value one can get out of a bad movie if it's done right. Or wrong. And I've wanted to do reviews of bad horror movies, to share my affection for them, for a long time. You've seen me do bits and pieces here with my Paying the Bills Theatre reviews, and this would be similar to that, although hopefully less stream of conciousness, and with a more cohesive format. I'm still working out those details, and the reviews are likely to evolve.
I had the ideas, I had (some) movies, but what I was lacking was the name for the blog, or the site, or whatever it ended up being. But the perfect idea finally reared its head a few weeks ago. I mulled it over, really came to like the name, and over the past week I've been putting all my ducks in a row, getting the site up, and the design underway, and the site is now at a state that I feel comfortable enough pulling the curtain back for one and all.

cyclopsscott for finally giving me the seed of "You should work thirteen into the title" that eventually grew into the tree of the new site.I really look forward to getting into this, and hearing back from other people about what they want to see, and general feedback for the site. It's early days, and there's a lot of stuff I wanna tweak, especially the front page. I'm about 75% happy with the site overall, so it's a good start.
