Let's Talk About Television: Lost 5x15 - Follow the Leader

I ain't got much to say this week. Good episode, just nothing really to comment on.

I love how far to Locke's side Jack has come. It's scary, in a way.

Yay, Jughead. =D The bestest little nuclear warhead ever.

Last week, I had a discussion with someone, and had a frightening revelation. It went something like this.

'How wild would it be if the survivors actually do stop the Incident, rewriting time, and making sure flight 815 doesn't crash. The new timeline, for whatever reason sucks, and they vow to go back and put things back, and they end up being...directly responsible...for...oh fuck, they would so do that on this show, wouldn't they?"

If that ends up being season six, and the show ends with the survivors causing their own plane crash, I just want this on record. Or it will just be further proof that I'm insane. ;)

I love all the people being brought into the circle of trust that they're from the future, and they're doing exactly what they're supposed to have done. Which makes me more certain that these events are happening the way they're supposed to happen, because of the survivors, not in spite of them. Putting Jughead on top of the Swan's location (note it has not even broken ground yet!) will be more likely to cause the Incident than stop it, I think. While I was wrong about where Jughead was buried initially, I may well be onto something with my theory that it's in the Swan station. Just not quite right on the how.

Dr. Chang accepting Miles and everyone else, and doing the right thing, was a subtly powerful moment for me.

I'm out of thoughts for now.
