So, Sylar meets his dad, and he's pretty much what I expected. Didn't see the cancer coming, but its a nice touch, and gives him a good motivation to give a crap again and try to take Claire's powers from Sylar. But did anyone else flash to the old Red Green show when he was talking? I kept waiting for him to say, "Remember, if a woman can't find you handsome, she should at least find you handy!"
I've got a love/hate thing with Claire at the comic store. Mostly it was a fun scene, although maybe just a hair bit forced to have her go there to get a job. It feels like "We're a comicbook show, we should have a comicbook set! Get the hammer of characterisation!" Also I want to eyeroll at the guys staring at her, but...yeah, we can be like that sometimes. ;) Stupid to have that be the reason she got the job though. EvenifI'dtotallygothereforthatreason
And the event we've all seen coming for miles and miles, they find out about Nathan. Again, played out pretty much as I expected. Should be interesting to see where things go from here, and I like the ending with Nathan saving Claire. Part of me thinks that if the project was run by Nathan, the way he wanted it to be run, it might actually do some good, but that would never happen with the government. Maybe this experience could have him become our own Professor X.
Can we just reveal that Rebel is Micah now, and be done with it, please? ;)
My brain's spent, that's all I got.
