Let's Talk About Comicbooks - Secret Invasion: War of Kings one-shot

This is my token comics post, since I wanted to get one up before *another* tv post, and this was probably one of the biggest books from my last shipment.  I so need new books.

But I digress.

I love almost everything Paul Pelletier does, even if I wanna push at the rubbery faces on occasion.  The good far outweighs the bad.  And Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning have long been on my follow list since their Legion issues years ago.  Their recent runs on Nova and Guardians are nothing to sneeze at either.

This was a very nice setup for the upcoming stories, bridging the gap between Secret Invasion and the upcoming War of Kings very well, positioning the Inhumans to seek their revenge and rise up from their hidden city at long last.  The Kree reaction to their engineered weapons at long last coming home in ways they never expected was a treat to see, as was Black Bolt speaking.  That's always a pretty big event in a comic.  What other character can make you go "Oooohh" with naught but a word?

I love cosmic Marvel, I loved the Annihilation books, and I love me some X-Men, especialyl Rachel, who just so happens to be out in space, so I am so set for War of Kings.

Your thoughts?
