Funny JMS Thing

Comics crusade- TV and film writers return to their first love, "J. Michael Straczynski, creator of the science-fiction series Babylon 5 , has a successful career as a writer and producer in television. He has also written some top-selling comic-book series. But when given the chance to update a comic-book icon, he couldn't contain himself. "I'm going to do Spider-Man!" he excitedly told a friend, famed sci-fi author Harlan Ellison, who pointed out that he already had plenty of irons in the fire. Among them: a Babylon 5 movie for the Sci-Fi Channel and a movie and series for Showtime. Mr. Straczynski was giddily unfazed: "I'm going to do Spider-Man!" Mr. Ellison could only laugh in resignation and say: "You're 12 years old."."
