Just when it's seeming like Newsarama can't get much worse, after seeing the same story three times in about a two inch circle of screen area, they find a way.

I just went to the site, and they threw one of those splash screen ads that come up instead of what you're actually there for, and have to click through the link to skip the ad and get to the site.

I get advertisements on websites, I can live with them, but when you FORCE me to see an ad, before any content, even for a second that it takes me to find the link to get past it just so you can force that little one penny of ad revenue for showing it to land in your pockets, I start to get annoyed. Sure, other sites do it, and they annoy me too, but Newsarama is on serious thin ice right now, so this is another straw on the camel's back for me. Ugh.

Fortunately it's not coming up every time.

Yet. *looks at IGN*
