End of Daes

So, as I'm watching A&E's remake of the classic Andromeda Strain, (Which was quite good, while being quite different, from the other versions. The story was the same, mostly, although the story is more spread out and less claustrophobic than the other versions as well. Some may say that misses the mark, but it worked for a story in its own right. But I digress) and I'm also reading the writeup in TV Guide at the same time. They're running through the cast, and they get to Daniel Dae Kim, and say "And speaking perfect English - who knew?"

Well, gee, maybe those of us who have been watching television for more than three years, and/or can change off of the four major networks?

Okok, fair enough, not many people watched Crusade, but he did have a recurring role on Angel which more than a few people watched, but he's had guest appearances in everything from CSI to 24, to Spider-Man, to Enterprise.

And yes, everyone has that one breakout role that finally gets them recognised, but damn...things like that just bug me.

Oh, those of us who own the DVDs also knew it...
