Kerfuffle of the Week

Ok, let me get this straight.

There's this guy suggesting a button campaign that is totally optional for a woman to wear, so people can know, at comic conventions, if it is, or is not ok to touch their breasts.

As I seem to be wont to ask around here...and the problem is...what?

It's not like he's telling all my fellow the horny, undersexed, introverted geeks out there to rush the next con, hands outstretched like zombies seeking brains, and grope every person they lay eyes (and hands) upon.

They are making it the option of the women, who own the breasts, if they are willing to set them out there to be groped. If a woman is open to having nerds poke her boobs all day long, and advertise this fact, or even advertise that if you touch them, you will have fingers broken...how is this a problem?

Granted, there will probably be the overzealous fans, as their always are, who will be the gropaholics and do the scenario above...but I'd be surprised if I learned there already aren't people like that at conventions.

All that being said, yeah, it is a little weird and on the side of WTF, but when there's things like sharking out there? This is so, so very far down on the things to worry about. As a warning, that link ain't safe for work. Probably not safe for anyone, really...

And you can touch my breasts any time.
